Chinese Checkers HD App Reviews

The "regular price" of this app is listed as $1.99. I mention that because this supposedly paid app has ads. These ads can, at times, be distracting when they change mid-game. The game itself is your basic Chinese Checkers. It has a unique idea in that you can chose your opponents play-style (radical, rational, jumper, dull, master) or you can play against a human pass n play style. Sadly, there are no other settings you can change. Id have liked an orientation switching option and I REALLY would have liked a way to turn off the annoying doorbell sound after each opponent move. As it was, I had to mute the game to play it. Given some tweaks an consideration to the sounds/screen orientation issues, this can be quite a decent game.

The computer makes all the moves for me, am I missing something? I dont get to play! Maybe thats why it is free.

You are right. Only the computer plays while you watch. Deleted this right away.

To play you have to select HUMAN as one of the roles in the beginning. But the computers all like to work together to screw you by sitting in your end zone until one of them wins the. They will move. And they really like to screw up your jumps. Deleted really quick

Please reinstate the previous version with toggles indicating Rational, Master, Radical, etc. The newest version is quite bad, slow, and not challenging or fun. Actually its quite infantile.

This update ruined the game. I cant play the new one. Its obnoxious, and as another review stated "infantile". I also think the size of the board is smaller. Too bad. I really liked the previous version. Deleting this one.

Game was much better before!

Whoever thought he latest changes were good needs their heads examined! This used to be my favorite game but now it feels infantile. You have to wait forever to take your turn and the lights around the triangle drive me nuts. If it didnt take so long to work through all the added graphics I would still play this but who has time to just sit and wait for this? Please go back to the previous version!

Local 2 player settings does not work anymore.

Turned off the Fast Paced option but i still had less and less time to make moves, to the point where it played for me. Awful

It is an avg game. The Game Center integration is annoying. Game play is barely ok.

Too many ads Dont like the long jump. Why not keep the original simple rule (thats exactly how we play in my hometown), or allow to choose between two rules? The black circles showing possible destinations are ugly and not correctly centered. Why use this to replace the old one? Hope to have two new functions: 1. Regret 2. When Im done, let the AIs finish immediately since I dont want to wait for minutes.

Fun app. But too many ads and its hard to get rid of the ads because they freeze and you cannot play anymore.

To get rid of an ad, one must press on the X about a zillion times to make it go away. But, besides that, its a fun app.
